Bowling Green Family Photographer ~ Baby Cooper is 1!

I was thrilled when Alisha messaged me to let me know she was visiting BG to a) get to see her and b) get some pictures of this adorable family of 3. I was honored to take both her maternity and her son's newborn portraits (see here and here) but since their move to IL we hadn't been able to reconnect for photos! They came down to BG to visit family and it also happened to be very close to Cooper's birthday. Although it was a bit of a chilly March day, we were able to have a short shoot that was surprisingly full of adorable images. In fact, Cooper even got some cake! 

It was so good to see you all. Hope to do it again soon!

Bowling Green Couples Photography ~ Shelby & Justin!

Hi again, readers! I've got some super sweet photos of a couple in love to share with you! I met Shelby via my recent couples giveaway. She got in contact because she wanted to get some photos done as a gift for she and her boyfriend's (Justin) 2-year anniversary and Valentine's day. What an excellent gift choice this was! We started off downtown with coffee and walked around to find some interesting spots. Then, after an outfit change, we drove to lost river cave to use a sweet little spot with some overgrowth to give the shots a rustic/outdoorsy feel. Finally, we relaxed near a pond for some very beautiful shots just before sunset. Really, going on a shoot with me is a lot like a date but you have me snapping photos and giving the occasional direction. At one point a flock of birds suddenly filled the sky. It was such an unexpected and romantic moment that I was so happy to capture.
