Recently drove to Tennessee to take some photos of Keller who will be graduating from Westmoreland High School this May! I loved this shoot because we got to take photos at his home that had so many beautiful locations on the property. In some of the photos, he is next to a tree that he planted as a boy (I know, it's so sweet). He was a great sport about getting his photo taken. It was a quick shoot but I am so happy with the way they turned out! Hope you like them! Best of luck, Keller!

Jordan ~ Headshots/Portraits
Two days ago I did a drive by shoot with Jordan who was referred to me by Jenny (see previous entry!). She's going to be a stage manager/director of an outdoor theatre in North Carolina and needed quick headshots. Well, in what was about 30 minutes, I got some of my favorite portraits yet. She was super comfortable in front of the camera and in addition to being naturally beautiful, she also had her friend Brett (shout out to Ohana's salon in Bowling Green) get her dolled up for the shoot. I absolutely loved her curls and they framed her face beautifully. It really got me to thinking that more clients should get their makeup/hair done professionally. I know this is a no-brainer (in fact many photographers offer this service) but it just looks prestine! Plus that post-salon-I-feel-BEAUTIFUL feeling can only do good things for confidence in photographs.
Best of luck, Jordan! Be careful though, once people see these you might be forced into more on stage roles!

Portraits ~ Jenny Wells
Jenny is my friend and neighbor and I'm so glad to have gotten a chance to take her portraits. As you can see, she is gorgeous. In the courtyard between our apartments there is this lovely (dogwood?) tree that is in bloom, albeit temporarily. Last year it was in bloom maybe 2 weeks so I wanted to use it as a background before it was too late. The photos turned out beautifully. The soft pink flowers provided a really unique and visually appealing backdrop. We also snapped some photos around other parts of the property. The shoot in its entirety only took 20 minutes. I have to say I'm getting faster at getting the job done. Hope you love them!
