Bowling Green Engagement Photographer ~ Samantha & David

These are from a shoot I recently did with newly engaged Samantha and David. Samantha contacted me through theknot.com for an engagement session and I'm so glad they chose me! Samantha and David are going to school here in Bowling Green but are originally from Chicago where their wedding will be in 2013. They are a really down to earth couple and their compatibility really shows in this session. I knew it would be a fun shoot when Samantha told me she wanted a timeless, vintage feel to the photos. They also love outdoors so we went with a picnic shoot in at the Lost River Cave trails. I adore the props she brought (don't these cupcakes and vintage coca colas look nummy?)! What a fun shoot I have to share with you! These are from a recent engagement session for my very first clients from theknot.com! I will be shooting their wedding in August and man, based on our session, I'm very excited to work with them on their big day. First of all, our styles are a wonderful match. They too love natural light photography with a minimalistic, laid back kind of feel. The wedding will be on a farm and we wanted the shoot to emulate that same mood. We got a mix of downtown and farm/acre shots. Not going to lie though, we did get chased by a fleet of cattle (lesson learned!!!). Most of all, I am excited to work with their personalities. We laughed a lot and got to know each other of the shoot and they are a fantastic couple of individuals. She is super sweet and witty and he is warmhearted and adoring. I was thrilled when I saw their lovely props and ideas for poses as well. Best of all, we got to end the shoot over ice cream. All in all, it was a successful engagement session. Not only am I more prepared to work with them on their wedding day, but I'm extremely excited to! Congrats, you two! So glad you found me :]
